Cooking has always been my love language.
What started as a simple desire to feed my own family wholesome, delicious meals has blossomed into a meal prep service that now nourishes hundreds of families every week.
I'm Mel. Every meal I prepare carries the same care and attention I'd give to feeding my own kids. No shortcuts, no compromises. Just real food made with real love.
Whether you're a busy professional juggling deadlines, a parent racing between activities, or someone who simply deserves a homestyle meal without the hassle, I'm here for you.

A dream in a home kitchen
Everyone deserves fresh, healthy, delicious meals without hours in the kitchen. Cooking for friends and family quickly grew into something bigger.

Moving to a commissary kitchen
As demand grew we moved into a shared commissary space, serving more customers while keeping the quality and care that defined us from day one.

Our own commercial facility
Today we operate our own private commercial kitchen, purpose-built for restaurant-quality meals at scale, serving customers across Southern California.

Meals by Mel was born right here in Southern California. We're not a faceless corporation shipping meals from across the country.
We sponsor youth sports teams, partner with local gyms and fitness studios, and support health and wellness initiatives in our neighborhoods. Today our team has grown, but we're still a family operation at heart.
We help families, busy professionals and fitness enthusiasts across LA, Orange County, the Inland Empire and San Diego eat better. And honestly? We wouldn't have it any other way.
